KIDS EXPERIENCE

From babies to 6th graders, our team wants your whole family to have a great experience. At Northridge Kids, we want all of our kids to learn how to love God, love others, and do their best, all while having fun! When you arrive, our team can show you where the children's check-in area is. At the check-in station, you can tell us a little about your family to help us serve you well. On our check-in form, we will ask things like your child's age, if your child has any allergies, or special needs, and get your contact information. You and your child will then receive a sticker with a matching code, and then our team will help direct you to your child's classroom. If for any reason we need to contact you, we will send a text message via your phone. If at any point during the service you want to check on how your child is doing, you can go to the check-in area and watch the monitor to view the class they are in.

At Northridge, your child's safety and security are our priority. Our workers are trained and equipped with the tools to ensure the safety of your child. We use KidCheck child check-in system for additional safety and security. You can make the check-in process even easier by creating a KidCheck account online at www.kidcheck.com before you come, or our team will gladly help you set up an account.

Northridge Little Ones (Babies & Toddlers | Pre-k)

Your baby and toddler will experience personal care from our well-trained and experienced team. We keep our nursery rooms ready for your little ones with age-appropriate toys that are kept thoroughly cleaned and disinfected. Please let our team know of any special feeding, changing, or sleeping needs your child has. During their time with us, your toddler will hear fun worship songs and will receive a snack of goldfish crackers. Our team will gladly modify the snack for your child's needs. We also take time to pray for your child each week.

In Pre-K, children start to engage more with their church experience, so we help them interact and build their faith through stories, songs, and lessons that give them Biblical truths. They also form relationships with other kids and their teachers.

Northridge Kids Club (Kindergarten-2nd Grade)

In Northridge Kids Club, your young elementary-aged child will start to engage in deeper teaching and a more focused experience. When your child arrives, they will start with fun centers where they will build friendship with other children their age. Next, they have fun, engaging worship followed by an age-appropriate Bible lesson. Your child will also experience fun small group activities that reinforce what they learned that day. At Northridge Kids Club, we believe in making lifetime followers of Jesus. This includes helping them memorize Bible verses that will stay with them for the rest of their lives. We will also send home a "God Time" devotional that allows them to further emphasize what they learn each week.

Northridge Kids (3rd-6th Grade)

At Northridge Kids, your older elementary child will be able to make connections with other children their age, learn lessons at their level, and begin to experience God in an even deeper and more meaningful way. We allow kids the ability to start taking on roles, such as running the tech booth, helping lead worship, and earning rewards for Bible memory verses and "God Time" devotionals. No matter where your child is in their relationship with God, we want to meet them where they are and help them grow closer to Him.

Family Room

Northridge Church values our families and has provided a space next to the check-in area for families with children 5 and under or children with special needs. This room is connected to the main service and has toys, blankets, diapers, and other things to help comfort your child. We understand that sometimes children take time to adjust to being away from mom and dad, and we want to make sure you're able to still connect to our worship service.
