Missions
Northridge is involved with local outreach within our community as well as supporting missionaries around the world.
Local Missions
Our primary local mission is through our HOPE ministry. The mission of HOPE is to simply be the church of Jesus Christ by stepping into His world. Being led by God, HOPE endeavors to provide physical and spiritual assistance in four major areas: Schools, Human Trafficking, Homelessness, and Foster Care. In addition to these major areas, HOPE also serves our community through our local food pantry, M25.
Schools
HOPE Backpack Program works with Montclair Elementary, Oakcrest Elementary, and Global Learning Academy to provide assistance through weekly food bags.
Human Trafficking
HOPE currently partners with The Blessing Boutique. The Blessing Boutique is a survivor-led mobile boutique (lovingly named Hope) that travels to area safe houses to provide female survivors of sex trafficking, domestic violence, and sexual assault with clothing and toiletries. Providing hope for a better tomorrow--one outfit at a time. You can follow our journey on Facebook @ The Blessing Boutique.
Homelessness
HOPE supports A Future and A Hope (AFAAH), a women's recovery program located on the campus of Ensley First Baptist Church. AFAAH is a faith-based transitional program for women seeking to carry out the call of Jeremiah 29:11. Learn more about the program by visiting afaah.com.
Foster Care
Escambia County is currently in a foster care crisis. We are 200 beds short in our county alone. HOPE is committed to help existing foster families and to help families complete the licensing process.
World Missions
Northridge has a passion for reaching the world with the message of Jesus. We support missionaries through the following organizations: Globe International and Living Water International, Adopt a Child.
